The academic morning session will showcase cutting-edge studies from researchers from the University of Chicago, University of Berkeley, University of Florida, and the Richmond Fed. The morning will cover how AI advisors influence investor biases, how ChatGPT can generate tradable news-based signals, and how large language models enhance the reading of monetary policy tone. The morning will also discuss critical pitfalls for large language models in numerical reasoning and backtesting, helping practitioners distinguish real alpha from artificial model effects.
