On the occasion of the 2019 Annual General Meeting of the Financial Centers for Sustainability (FC4S) Network in Geneva, Switzerland is organizing a landmark summit on October 10. Building on the unique ecosystem in Geneva, the aim of the event is to foster new conversations and collaborations between key Swiss and global players that will accelerate the finance industry’s contribution to the achievement of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
Swiss President Ueli Maurer will be joined on stage by leading figures from government, finance, business, the UN, and other international organisations to discuss how to create a climate conducive to the growth of sustainable finance and scale up our collective impact.
Institutional investors are the main drivers of growth in sustainable finance. The afternoon programme will focus on asset management expertise: banks, asset managers, pension funds and institutional investors will come together to discuss practical and innovative strategies to meet the challenges of sustainability, in Switzerland and globally.
